I had to laugh re-watching the video when she knocked the first jump in the bounce line over because she was concentrating so hard on the second jump. I patted her when she jumped the second "scary" one and said "good girl!" and Joe was like, "good girl is right...she knocked the jump over!" Hey, I was just glad I didn't go a** over teakettle over the second jump!Katehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08707037151404133158noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7503414269772613959.post-34527277940069638782011-10-31T18:32:08.714-04:002011-10-31T18:32:08.714-04:00You guys looked good. I might have to made one to try at home to make Scarfie be a bit braver, since he is a giant chicken.

Joe looks like a great clinician!Meganhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01892171126205170882noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7503414269772613959.post-14763978580087297362011-10-30T20:36:23.088-04:002011-10-30T20:36:23.088-04:00Good girl, Lucy! That is a great exercise to get them using their brains instead of their afterburner.
I was always taught to half halt on the outside rein, which works fine, but experimenting with Nina (EVERYTHING is an experiment with Nina) she is quieter and more responsive when I half halt on the inside rein. I like it better too.Barbarahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01571711150060964222noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7503414269772613959.post-76854296389941964002011-10-30T15:01:20.674-04:002011-10-30T15:01:20.674-04:00You guys looked great! He's very insightful and just so GOOD at what he does. I never left a lesson or clinic without having learned a bazillion things to work on.Promisehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12338935046262804307noreply@blogger.com
