Kenny and I, Summer 2008 |
I am a 20-something graphic designer living in Southern New England. I was born in Hong Kong and moved around internationally a great deal as a kid, living in England and Washington, DC before my parents permanently settled in Massachusetts. I moved to Rhode Island when I went to college and loved it so much that even when I graduated, I didn't leave.
I have been riding horses since I was 3. They start you off pretty young in the UK, but that was alright with me. Horses have been the one constant in my life no matter where my family moved to, and I have been blessed to have many wonderful instructors in many different places as the years passed.
In September 2010 I married my best friend, Kenny. We met when volunteering for our college ambulance service. He now works full-time as an advanced life support provider for a 911 service. I also have my EMT license, but unfortunately don't have the spare time to continue volunteering.
Outside of my full-time job, I run a small photography and design business called Polar Square Designs.
Kenny and I have a female Rhodesian Ridgeback named Cairo, who is quite the character. In May of 2010 we bought our first house together and most of our spare time is spent working on the house.
