Lucy got a new sheet because her old one, which was a very cute Tuffrider sheet, was beginning to let the rain through it and it also had a small tear in the shoulder. I got a super deal on this new sheet and I figured I got 2 1/2 seasons out of her old one, which I think is pretty good!

Adorable! it makes me sad that I have geldings and would feel cruel dressing them in pink blankets. (However I do put pink saddle pads on them :-))The one time I tried to dress my old gelding in a pink flysheet he got revenge by ripping it to shreds, I never did find all of it...
ReplyDeleteadorable!
ReplyDeleteVery cute. I like it on her.
ReplyDeleteAdorable indeed!
ReplyDeleteShe looks Lucylicious.
ReplyDeleteI love that blanket! My friend has it for her OTTB mare who is a similar dark color as Lucy and I think it looks adorable on her (and Lucy of course)!
ReplyDeleteI'm curious what you think of the Dover blanket down the road. I've always loved mine but Prince likely isn't as hard on his blankets as Lucy.
Lucy is actually really easy on her "clothes". She's had the Tuffrider sheet since I bought her, and I think it must have gotten snagged on something to cause the small tear. I have never had a problem with her trying to nakify herself, and she gets turned out alone so there is no "clothing tag" issues.
DeleteOverall I have been really pleased with the Dover brand blankets. It's worth spending the extra money for the Supreme or Northwind line, which have stronger construction overall. The sale prices are such great deals, too.
Cute! I need one! I am not so sure Henry would appreciate it haha!
ReplyDeleteThat sheet looks really nice on her :)
ReplyDeleteWhere did you get the blanket? It's so cute! :)
ReplyDeleteIt is from Dover. Here's the link:
