I will say that as a rough boarder, cleaning the paddock in the dead of winter is by far the WORST chore.
I rode last night, just for twenty minutes or so, and just at the walk. Lucy wore Maddy's side pull, which she seems to like! She was pretty tolerant of the one-ear headstall, too.
It was so nice to be in the saddle. Lucy was very sweet and behaved herself nicely.
I just love those fuzzy ears! |
I think one eared headstalls are possibly the most adorable things ever.
ReplyDeleteAGREED! It's funny when some people look at them and say, "Is your bridle broken? You should get a new one."
Deleteaww good girl Lucy!
ReplyDeleteI love one ears but my trainer was on a trail ride on my green filly when she shook her head and the whole headstall came off! Lucky my mare's is sensible and stayed put lol. I'm so behind on paddock picking I just stumble over frozen poo With the wheelbarrow when I feed I hate it!

ReplyDeleteI totally agree paddock cleaning is horrible in winter, I can't imagine with snow. What a good girl Lucy, love the bridle!
ReplyDeleteThat color looks so pretty on her. Glad it warmed up a bit for you!
